Standard Competition Terms & Conditions
The promoter is: Noon Gun Brewery whose registered office is at 12 Capricorn Drive, Capricorn Business Park, Muizenberg, Cape Town, 7845.
The competition is not open to
directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of the Naspers Group of companies or any supplier of goods or services in connection with a competition; and
the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, or the natural or adopted parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified in 2.1 above.
Anyone under the age of 18
You may not win a prize if it is unlawful for us to supply such a prize to you. If you do win such a prize, you will forfeit it.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
Unless otherwise specified in the competition rules, you may only enter the competition once any time before the closing date.
You may not participate in or win a competition if you have won a competition promoted by us within the past three (3) months. You will be eligible to participate in a competition promoted by us after the expiry of three (3) months after the date on which you won the last competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via the relevant social media platforms; i.e. Facebook, Instagram.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
If you use a mobile phone for entry into the competition, the telephone calls/ text messages you make will be charged at the prevailing rates, which may vary from time to time. “Free” minutes under a cell-phone contract do not apply. If you use data from a mobile device, data will be charged at the prevailing rates.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your entry is received by us prior to the closure of the competition. Any entries which are not received by us prior to the closure of the competition will not be eligible to participate, regardless of the reason for the late entry. We and our affiliates are not responsible for any entries which are not received by us, whether timeously or at all, regardless of the cause thereof. Without limitation, we and our affiliates are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failure or malfunction, traffic congestion (whether physical, or on the Internet, telephone lines or at any service provider, web site or other device or medium), or any combination thereof, or any other technical or other problems.
We and our affiliates are not responsible for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer, mobile telephone or other device used by you to enter into, or obtain any materials related to, the competition.
The rules of the competition and how to enter will be outlined and included within the relevant competition entry mechanics.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as follows:
The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen:
as a result of a popular vote conducted via social media sites as measured and recorded and verified by Promoter and or its agents.
by an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.
By Noon Gun Brewery or one of its affiliates
It is your responsibility to ensure that any information which you provide to us is accurate, complete and up to date.
The winner will be notified by email and/or direct messaging on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram and/or letter within at least 10 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
We do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to a prize, and in particular, but without limitation, make no representations and give no warranty that –
your entry or participation in the competition will necessarily result in you winning a prize;
prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet your, or, if applicable, your partner’s, requirements, preferences, standards or expectations; or
prize, or any aspect thereof, will be satisfactory, punctual, free from defects, safe or reliable.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
